Burgess Mee is pleased to have been ranked once again as a leading law firm in the 2025 edition of Chambers UK.

The firm has retained its top-tier ranking for 'Family/Children Law' and has risen to Band 2 for 'Family/Matrimonial Finance: High Het Worth', while five partners have been recognised as leading lawyers.

Peter Burgess, Antonia Mee and Natalie Sutherland are ranked for 'Family/Children Law', with Natalie in Band 1. Peter, Antonia and David Lillywhite are named as leading lawyers for 'Family/Matrimonial Finance: High Net Worth', while Rachel Freeman is ranked in the 'Family/Matrimonial Finance: Ultra High Net Worth' category. Furthermore, Peter Burgess is featured in the spotlight on mediators.

Clients praised the "absolutely brilliant" Burgess Mee for "show[ing] a lot of humanity in the way they deal with issues" and for giving "good and sensible advice at all times". They also said "we cannot speak highly enough of the professional expertise demonstrated by Burgess Mee."

The Chambers UK rankings are based on interviews, client feedback and in-depth analysis carried out by the legal directory's team of researchers.

Burgess Mee's recognition in Chambers follows its ranking as a tier one boutique firm in eprivateclient's 2024 list of Top Family Law Firms, which was published last week.
