About Austin

Austin joined Burgess Mee in September 2024 as a paralegal. Austin is soon to be called to the Bar and will begin his pupillage with QEB in September 2025. Austin studied Law at the London School of Economics, the Bachelor of Civil Law at the University of Oxford, and then completed his bar course training with The Inns of Court College of Advocacy.

Prior to joining Burgess Mee, Austin was the Judicial Assistant to Lady Justice King and Lord Justice Moylan at the Court of Appeal in the 2023-2024 legal year. As a Judicial Assistant, Austin gained experience across family finance and children cases. Austin has also been a Research Assistant in the Property, Family and Trust Law team at the Law Commission and volunteered as a caseworker at the Independent Provider of Special Education Advice (IPSEA).

Outside of work, Austin is currently learning Korean and enjoys tennis, video games, and reading.
