Emily joined Burgess Mee in May 2024 as a paralegal. Emily is soon to be called to the Bar and will begin her pupillage with 1 Hare Court in October 2024. Emily studied Jurisprudence at the University of Oxford and completed her bar course training with The Inns of Court College of Advocacy.

Emily has volunteered as a caseworker at Advocate and bundled private children and family finance cases. She also spent time in South Africa volunteering with Kwanele to combat gender-based violence, this involved finding barristers to act pro bono for victims of domestic violence.

Outside of work, Emily plays water polo with West London Penguins. She also enjoys swimming, hiking, reading and travelling.
